I would also like to thank a group of tireless women, my Mom’s aids, who took care of my Morn, when she could not longer take care of herself. But a special thanks to one of them, Kidy, who always tried to keep my mother moving and engaged, even when she was losing her ability to walk and her ability to speak. Or I should say, speak in a way we could all understand. She always had my mother, looking like a queen, and smelling like a rose. And on that final morning when my Dad called to tell Kidy that my Mom did not make it thru the night, Kidy came over one last time.

My aunt was placed in Hospice care Jan 2018. Someone told me to call miss Kidy, at Kind Heart VA. I spoke with miss Kidy and she came to the house with a home care attendant who said “I will take care of your loved one the same way I took care of my mother.” Thank you Kind Heart VA.
